Carolina Men's AMP 8" Soft Toe WP Work Boot - Brown- CA7071
The AMP CA7071 is an 8" waterproof soft-toe work boot on a resoleable leather welt — sealed against the wet, light on the foot, for work that doesn't require a safety toe. Key Features of the Carolina CA7071 Soft Toe — No safety toe components, which makes the boot lighter and more comfortable where toe protection isn't required. Waterproof SCUBALINER™ — Carolina's sealed proprietary waterproof lining system. Russet Leather Upper — Carolina's signature leather. Removable AG8™ Dual-Density Foam Footbed — An update to the AG7, with enhanced arch support. Electrical Hazard Rated — Tested to withstand up to 18,000 volts at 60Hz for one minute without leakage. Leather Welt Construction — Stitched, not bonded; fully resoleable. Oil- & Slip-Resisting Rubber Outsole — Traction on wet and oily ground. What a Soft Toe Is For A safety toe adds weight at the far end of the boot, where you feel it most over a ten-hour day. Where no site rule requires an ASTM toe cap, a soft toe is lighter, more flexible across the forefoot, and roomier. It carries no impact or compression rating — that's the trade. Waterproof, and Rebuildable The SCUBALINER™ is a sealed membrane rather than a surface treatment, so it doesn't wash off. Behind it, welt construction stitches the outsole to the upper rather than gluing it — when the tread wears down, the boot goes to a cobbler rather than a landfill. Eight Inches of Shaft The taller shaft supports the ankle laterally and keeps mud, gravel, and debris out. It costs a little flexibility and a little heat, and on broken ground it earns both back. Why Choose the CA7071? Waterproof, EH rated, resoleable, and light — an 8" boot for wet work that doesn't need a safety toe. Similar Styles to Consider Want a wedge sole instead?
