The Mountain 600 Evo combines the heritage styling of the Mountain 600, one of Danner's best-loved hiking boots, with trusted, premium components to create a boot with the stability and support you need for long-distance backpacking. A waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX liner keeps feet dry on long, rainy days on the trail. A TPU shank distributes weight evenly underfoot and provides stability over rugged terrain while allowing your foot to feel the benefits of the Vibram SPE midsole's rebound and cushioning. Full-Grain Leather Upper - To ensure its quality, we put our leather through six different tests before making our selection. Our full-grain leathers are the strongest and most durable form of leather. GORE-TEX - Waterproof meets future proof, combining outdoor performance and environmental responsibility. These liners use 45% post-consumer recycled materials to achieve the 100% waterproof yet breathable performance you expect from a GORE-TEX liner. Removable OrthoLite ECO Footbed - Three layers of varying density are combined for maximum cushioning and support. This footbed is constructed from recycled rubber and Bio-Oil for better heat dissipation and air circulation. Vibram® SPE Midsole - This rubberized EVA midsole maintains the same cushioning properties as traditional EVA, but is more durable and won’t break down as easily.
