American Crafted for American Craftsmen Over ten years after the original Quarry became a staple for workers around the country, Danner brought its manufacturing to the Portland, Oregon factory and made major improvements to comfort and durability along the way. This version adds a lightweight alloy safety toe on top of the same GORE-TEX waterproofing and redesigned Vibram Quarry outsole. Key Features of the Danner Quarry USA 8" Alloy Toe 17307 Alloy Safety Toe (AT): A lighter alternative to steel that meets ASTM F2413 for impact and compression resistance. Full-Grain Leather Upper: Leather is put through nine separate tests before selection, for strength and durability on the job. Vibram® Quarry Outsole: A 90-degree heel with an oil- and slip-resistant rubber compound and a non-linear lug pattern for traction and debris release. Single-Piece Quarry Midsole: An upgraded, solid midsole built for increased longevity over the original Quarry. Triple-Stitched Construction: Hyper-strong thread reinforces the boot's toughest stress points. 610 Last: Danner's most universal last, with a snug heel and ample toe room for a versatile fit across foot shapes.
