Part painting, part garment. The Violet Bloom Ruffle Top is built from one of Nuvula’s original abstract illustrations, a composition of magenta and deep purple that shifts between botanical and geometric as the light moves across the fabric. The artwork was first drawn in our Los Angeles studio before being translated into textile. The silhouette nods to late 1960's mod tailoring with a sculpted shoulder, sleek fitted body, and dramatic ruffle bell cuffs that open like brushstrokes at the wrist. Balanced proportions keep the form refined while allowing the sleeves to create movement and visual drama. Crafted from an eco poly elastane blend selected for its exceptional color saturation, the fabric preserves the depth and intensity of the original artwork while offering stretch and comfort.
