Flannel's softness and comfort translates to spring and summer shirts as long as the fabric is lightweight enough. This Portuguese version is actually a highly brushed twill, and its plush outward face seems almost too luxurious for the cloth's airy weight. It's a light layer that comes in handy when it cools off.
