The Thompson/Center Triumph Rifle is a legendary inline muzzleloader that has now been reborn in the hands of elite craftsmen. The Triumph is equipped with a collection of excellent features including a completely Nitride treated barrel, Cerakote coated toggle-locking action, Speed Breech XT breech plug and a Limbsaver Recoil Pad for optimal shooting comfort. Nitride has long been the gold standard in corrosion prevention and resistance, however, this feature is new to the T/C Triumph line and is a welcome upgrade to one of America’s most beloved inline muzzleloaders. The .50 caliber Nitride treated barrel on the new and improved Triumph measures 28-inches in length, is rifled with a 1:24” twist rate, and is drilled and tapped for open sights and a scope rail. This enhances accuracy and provides an easier loading experience, especially for tighter saboted projectiles. Unlike other hand removable breech plugs on the market the Speed Breech XT only requires a quarter hand turn to remove the plug. This sets the Speed Breech XT apart, making it the fastest breech plug to remove and install on any inline muzzleloader currently on the market. This breech plug features a 209 primer pocket, optimized powder well, allowing for the use of both loose and pelletized powders, and 3 gas compression rings that virtually eliminate fouling of the breech plug and breech threads. The receiver and toggle-locking trigger guard are Cerakote coated to prevent rust and corrosion and allow for easy cleaning of the muzzleloader. To open the breech simply push forward on the trigger guard knob and the muzzleloa
