The 66 model features a unique take on denim, utilizing a process that involves rope-dyeing the warp threads, originally indigo, with sulfur dyes. This innovation achieves a “vertical fading black denim,” a style that was not available in the 1980s. It is woven on the same GL3 loom as the XX series, ensuring a consistent level of craftsmanship. The sewing specifications are derived from the "66 model" of the 1970s, capturing the authentic silhouette and lines of that era. The "XX" series consists of denim raw materials made in the 1920s and 1930s. This project utilizes uncut threads from these vintage materials, incorporating brown cotton into the American cotton used at the time, based on Kurabo's analysis. The result is a faithful reproduction of the original shapes of the uneven threads. XX denim is employed to develop symbolic vintage setups representative of each era. 100% cotton selvedge construction Unsanforized Non-Wash Rope-dyed with special sulphur color Plant-based dyes for depth and unique coloration "Mother Cotton" (Foxfibre ®) weft Woven on traditional GL3 power looms, preserving distinct characteristics of uneven yarn Hidden proprietary DENIME rivets DENIME hardware DENIME Leather Patch Hidden coin pocket selvedge Brown, inlaid selvedge ticker Made in Japan table { width: 100%; border-collapse: collapse; } th, td { border: 1px solid black; padding: 8px; text-align: center; } th { background-color: #f2f2f2; } Size Waist Thigh Front Rise Back Rise Inseam Leg Opening 28 29.9 11.2 10.8 14.2 32.7 7.3 29 30.7 11.4 11.0 14.6 32.7 7.5 30 31.5 11.8 11.2 15.0 32.7 7.7 31 32.3 12.2 11.4 15.2 32.7 7.9 32 33.1 12.4 11.6 15.4 32.7 8.1 33 33.9 12.8 11.8 15.6 32.7 8.3 34 35.4 13.2 12.0 15.9 32.7 8.5 36 37.0 13.6 12.2 16.3 32.7 8.7 38 38.6 14.6 12.4 16.5 32.7 8.9 A variance of +/-.5" is within tolerance.
