THE AUTHENTIC 1950 HARVARD CRIMSON BALLCAP History: The 1950 Crimson baseball team was captained by WWII veteran "Lefty" Caulfield, who led the conference with a .436 batting average and was later inducted into the Harvard Athletics Hall of Fame. Their coach, born-and-raised Bostonian Stuffy McInnis, was a four-time World Series champion in his day, winning one of those ‘chips with Babe Ruth on the 1918 Red Sox squad. This is an authentic reproduction of the original 1950 Harvard University ballcap, hand-sewn from genuine wool baseball cloth and finished with felt lettering.
