The Picnic Top is cut from structured cotton with a soft hand. The allover lace recreates Battenburg lace, a decorative technique from the late 19th century, constructed by basting woven tapes onto fabric and joining them with ornamental needle stitches. The fit is loose and easy with a boxy silhouette and straight sleeves designed to hit just above the wrist. Finished with a crew neckline trimmed in crochet lace and a back keyhole closure with button and loop.
